the goal of the whole thing is simply for the main character to lose weight. by eating here and not in the real world he is losing it, so really the entire plot stems around him hunting food. thats it. hes just completing missions he gets in order to eat food
To eat thats the goal. To enjoy life and eat and makes us reader go hungry just looking at his food
