Hmmm I'm not completely sure myself but I think Roel's original soul was a female to begin with. If you look at the earlier chapters the art shows Roel's body with female anatomy(when speaking of souls) so ig Roel was always fem. The priestess said the it's the soul that defines a person not the body, so even tho Roel the holy knight was in a masc body, the soul itself was fem. This is my third time reading it and I'm still not sure T-T

It was chapter 2 in the art where both Roel's current and former body is chained. :) Again I'm not completely sure but this is what I've made sense of xD

It make so much sense !!! Like you said female anatomy. But I think roel was a woman body but she had to fit in the holy night so became more masculine. Thaaanks anyway

Roel was just cross dressing because that's what the knight's outfits looked like. She probably just went along with the fangirls and stuff for the free food ngl

No I think Roel was fem from the beginning (in body and in soul) but she hides the fact that she is fem cuz I think females weren't supposed to be knights
