?? How does it work where you are from. The country I live in has that paying system...
Well in my country (denmark) we pay something thats called "skat". It's something we pay once a month, if you earn alot of money you need to pay more "skat", if you earn less money you pay less "skat". With that we can pay for hospital, roads, home less people or people who can't work because of mental illness, we can even have free dentists up til we turn 18. We can also go to school for free and get pay for it too and we don't need to pay for any of it, even if we pay we get it all back again. When you have earn your money you pay 39-41% to the country, not alot of people is happy about it but it helps and everyone is paying so the system with people and equal right don't fall down.

I did a surgery for my eyes if I did it in America it would cost about 40 000$ because it's a very difficult surgery .But it cost only 150€=179$ because of the "securite social "

Yes, it's really a privileged life and i'm happy for it, even though we have some flaws we are atleast better than america with our health care and some other stuff.
