I read the first book but didn't really get into it. How much is reading the rest of the series worth it?

You only read book 1? What a shame! Book 2 and 3 much much better. You can see Laurent's character development and you will come to love him so much after reading all the books ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ Of course Lauren and Damen's relationship as well!

I saw some mighty fine japanese artworks for this is there a manga Version or are those just illustrations? I need to know, they look so sexy xD

THIS! it's definitely worth it! the development in their relationship too. also, for someone who doesn't like reading, i actually finished all three books in three days. so proud of myself

i really wish there is a yaoi based on it tbh but so far i've heard the japanese novel has a few illustrations and that's it. fingers crossed tho! im so excited to know that cp is getting so much love uuuu my heart

Ok, I have a few questions about the book. My friend told me about it, but she didnt read it.
1) Is there any sort of dub-con / non-con in it? I REALLY don't want any of those elements in it, since I think theres some sort of prostitution involved?
2) Do they (Damien and Laurent) get together? Like, yknow, a happily ever after or smth (I'm a romantic at heart ok)
3) Plz dont tell me theres some weird love triangle thing going on in there

i'm gonna be really honest and say

1) the first book made me uncomfortable bc there is actually a few scenes and parts of it. i'm like you and i don't really enjoy stuffs like that. what kept me going was because i know that the second and third book will be better
2) YES!!
3) there isn't, although there is a slight mention of jealousy. THANK GOD

tbh a few parts before they actually hook up made me so ?? frustrated maybe? the sexual tension oml

BUT ITS ALL WORTH IT YA KNOW like when they finally did it, ugh my heart

nope! i forgot to mention it earlier! there is a brief moment of it on damen's part (idk if it actually counts though) but it kinda adds up to their relationship later on.. ( ° ʖ °)
