Basically Eclis has a whole dilemma with Peneople. He hates her because she belongs to the empire who destroyed his homeland but he loves her so much so what feeling he develops? obsession. He is so obsessed with her to the point where he is the responsible of bringing "Ivonne" back (the " means exactly what it is). By bringing back "Ivonne" he was expecting the duke to chased Penelope out of the mansion so the way she would depend only in Eclis. It is a little bit sad cause he loves her and he knows Penelope doesn't love him but yeah. Penelope will take the ring of (which basically means that she is no longer his master) and he has this big ass mental breakdown
