You misunderstood. Taesung has feelings for sooyoung and sooyoung is beginning to develop feelings. Taesung did not use sooyoung as a bait. He warned sooyoung many times not to rush in danger carelessly. He was tired of having the anxiety of seeing sooyoung hurt by his enemies. So he wanted him to get beaten up by those gangs so he could figure it out himself and crawl back to him. Taesung is also possessive so he was using this situation to tell sooyoung to depend on him.
But taesung never imagined those gangs would go that farrrr..... you can see as a mafia boss he is too sweet to sooyoung and their sex scenes, though it is tough, is passionate.

That part had me shook too! Taeseung was determined to get Sooyoung seriously injured just to make him depend on him, he said as much to Sang Cheol. Even after seeing SY stabbed he got mad at his men for intervening and he let SY believe that he saved him when if it wasn't for Sang Cheol and Minhyuk he would be dead. He wants to isolate him and make him stay at home waiting for him like a dog. That's pretty fucked up.

If you look at him throughout manhwa you will see he was trying to protect sooyoung and hated seeing sooyoung injured. Examples are when taesung stabbed one of his subgang members in the neck because of hurting sooyoung or when he cut one of jisung,sooyoung's abusive ex, fingers. He also cut kangil ears before kangil kidnapped sooyoung. He was trying to wipe out his enemies so that sooyoung couldn't get hurt because of his enemies.
So you see he cares about sooyoung's well being to the point of (jokingly) threatening sooyoung of punishment whenever sooha returns with a scratch or injury. But he also has a possessive side . I don't think he literally meant it when he said he didn't care if they break sooyoung's leg. He didn't expect kangil would ho that far. He wanted sooyoung to realize that he must depend on taesung for safety. He wants it because he's possessive and insecure. But this behaviour of his must be fixed or sooyoung will leave him once he realize his toxic maneuvers.
I prefer taesung to minhyuk because , with all his toxic possessiveness, taesung is not a rapist
No read it again. He was mad at his men before he notices sooyoung's state. He said it himself that he overestimated kangil he thought kangil wouldn't do so much damage. Though taesung countless times showed his anxiety over sooyoung's well being and saved sooyoung, But this doesn't change that he wanted sooyoung to cling to him more by appearing as his saviour in the kangil incident. I hope we see some development.

When Tae Seung arrived, he said to Sang Cheol "I told you to stay put" but he was looking at Minhyuk when he said that, Soo Young was in Minhyuk"s arms, stabbed and almost unconscious. We don't see him in the frame but he was literally in front of Tae Seung,
He's using fear and manipulation to keep Soo Young by his side. No matter how you look at it, that's fucked up. He's a gangster, he's not Mr nice guy.
He noticed sooyoung after saying that and in next chapter he literally said that he miscalculated the situation and kangil became he didn't expect to see sooyoung this much hurt
I havent completely caught but to the recent chapters but does anyone know if taesang or whatever his name is and sooyoung ever get to a point where they both care about each other and dont say for example use their lover as bait. Like that part had me shook Σ( ￣□￣||). I know he is supposed to be this cold blooded mafia boss but like why is it one minute you care for whether he gets a scratch at work and then the next minute you willing let people beat him up. I want them to be together because they seem content and happy but like a big part of me is like NOOOO. Other than that I pretty much love the art, storyline, and everything about this manga.ヾ(☆▽☆)
