This is why i prefer Rennald over Derrick (just between them brothers). I’d like to think that if Rennald were in the same situation, he would have protected Penelope instead of leaving her with Callisto
It also helps that Rennald said something near the end of the arc that redeemed him in my eyes (and totally made me want to smack Derrick) lolololol
