I think I read somewhere that the mother was a noble from another empire and she ran away that's why she knew how to do things as the madam of the house and the reason she kept quiet about the father was for her not being found out.

The dad :

The judge's brother is Aria's father, he was a prince of the empire, so Asher's gradfather (late emperor) was married to a woman. (I think Asher's father isn't that woman's child but Im not sure) that woman cheated on the late emperor with a marquis and had a child (Aria's father) so she was exiled from the empire with her son and married the marquis (Aria's grandfather).

The mom :
Aria's was a prostitute, she didn't know Aria's dad was a prince and dad didn't know mom's real name. Her name in that job was known as 'apple'. Dad was exiled from the empire and didn't have the time to see Apple again but he's in love with mom and doesn't even know he had a child (since Apple knew abt her pregnancy when he's already exiled) and dad is still searching for Apple (Apple is a REALLY COMMON name for prostitute's in the empire so he never found her (until now)
(Aria's grandad's still searching for Apple bcs dad swore to never marry anyone except Apple)

Power :

The imperial family has a magic water or smth like that who gave the imperial family power
(Asher's power is to teleport) SINCE ARIA'S GRANDMOM WAS THE EMPRESS, she drank the water for her children to have power
(she drink but she doesn't have power's it's 4 the imperial childs to have powers) since Aria's grandmom drank it Aria has a power (her's is to turn back time by 5 minutes)
(The power activate ONLY when they are about to die, that's why Aria's turned back time when she was guillotined)
