He's neighboring country's king and he is Asher's close friend.
As I read some spoiler Lady Iris and Mielle try to kill (or blame) Aria. Asher take Aria with him and go that white haired king's country. That king helps them.
We are at chapter 61, they are fiancé, Mielle most likely thinks about killing her own father to make her brother the head of the house to annul The MC's and Asher's engagement lady Eris (or whatever her name is), is fiancé with another prince from another country and tries to flip this one over, MC might have royal blood etc ...
