Maturing is realizing nobody in this story is innocent and seth isnt as innocent of a person as some people make him out to be, yes hes a victim and didnt deserve what happened to him, but his actions are inexcusable and shouldnt been seen as excusable, or reasonable.

just because it is inexcusable doesn't mean he wasn't innocent to a degree. Think of the case of Andrea Yates. Drowning her 5 children in a bathtub is inexcusable. But she didn't deserve the death penalty and thus admitted permanently to a mental institution. The blame largely lie on Andrea's husband Rusty Yates who used his own belief to decide that he would have "as many children as nature allows" and leave his wife alone to "train her not to neglect her motherly duties", despite psychiatrists warning him not to leave her unattended with the children or get her pregnant the fifth time and lead her to psychotic depression. Andrea even begged her husband not to get her pregnant because she was afraid she might kill the children only to have her husband choose his religious belief to have more children. In this case, it is not just the perpetrator but also the ppl influencing the perpetrator that is also responsible.
Seth is the same as Andrea Yates to me. Ofc Seth needs to face punishment and lose his title and be confined on Ra's boat after collecting the souls, just like how Andrea is locked away forever in an asylum, but so does Osiris, Isis, Nepthys and every other god involved in making bad decisions that turned Seth unstable and insane. Isis' punishment is done anyway since her decision to curse everyone including Seth backfired on her when Seth turned insane/evil.
i never said seth wasn’t as innocent as everyone made him out to b. i said that he was not the antagonist nd him retaliating against the ennead is justified. everyone in the ennead, apart from a few like our unproblematic couple thoth and maat nd others who we don’t see much, have done something wrong to seth. and it all jus kept piling up so him getting back at them is justified. i never said he was or wasn’t as innocent as people made him out to be i said he’s not the main person in the wrong right now
