Well we don't necessarily know the extent of his memory loss. He could've just forgotten about the construction site events and rape but still have the feeling of doubt with Taeseung that he wants to pursue. Or it could be worse and he completely forgot about certain people/everything/etc. — either way it's not my favorite trope to see (I could just watch k-dramas for that) so I'm really hoping it resolves itself in 2-3 chapters and doesn't become the focal point for season 2.
At the beginning I was rooting for Tae Seung, then I started rooting for Minhyuk and now I just root for Soo young to get away from both of them lol I think both of them are bad for him, just for different reasons.
Yeah, it's not my favorite trope either. But in this case we've seen his brain damage symptoms getting worse in the latest chapters, not just his memory, headaches, confusion, loss of consciousness, also his body seemed to get weaker. I think it's gonna play an important part, maybe later on.
The fact that Soo young doesn't remember anything is so frustrating! Very convenient for both Tae Seung and Minhyuk. I'm disappointed, it's kinda silly plot wise.
