Finally someone with a brain and understands how things work mmmhhmm, I really do hope people could read this and think outside the box. Too bad the comment section are starting to call us 'Helena stans' just because we 'defend' her. I'm starting to think maybe some of them adore these trashy men in the story. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I already forgave Helena long ago when I realised her standing. If anything else, its a pity cuz people higher ranked than her gets to choose her decisions for her. Literally like a bird in a cage or a doll. Poor soul.

I just have to say, you don't have to like Helena and that's okay but it's very interesting that people are so quick to blame her for this when she's literally a victim here. She's been treated like a tool this entire time by everyone in her life and people are acting like that shouldn't affect her... these comments read very much as victim blaming to me.
Also "she should've known and done something" even if she did know, what would she have done? She has no power, definitely not against the crown prince or the empress, and she knows that none of these men really give a fuck about her while they treat her like some doll. We literally saw her trapped in a closet for a day because she couldn't do anything against Eris. Who gives a fuck if she's always crying? Idk I personally take more issue with all the useless powerful men in this story, the actual villains, but whatever
