Not that easy to talk about it. Even if they did talk the child isnt any obligated to accept his mom apology. I mean imagine your mom who has ignore you SINCE YOUR BIRTH just say "yeah i was depressed at that time and didnt like your existence so much at that time because your existence is taking away my youth and i never feel happy whenever i see you so i just ignore you entirely" even in better wording that still hurts. The son didnt ask to be born in the first place.
