I don't think she likes the prince very much though, the reason she seems to listen to him seems to be at least partially because he's literally the prince of the kingdom she's living in and can ruin her life if he wanted to as well as the fact that she really needs the job and being a sugar baby and doing all the things someone told her to do isn't very different from the job she usually has.

The vibe in this comic doesn't seem like a comedy where a maid could reasonably reject an upper class person but more a realistic vibe where if you did, they'd keep pestering you and it wouldn't stop until it inevitably ruins your life.

I don't know, it was never really stated canonically but it gives me the same vibe as an employee getting favours from the boss because the boss likes her but the employee not entirely enjoying the attention. But if she refuses, she's worried that she'll get fired or he'll make her life harder.

Of course, that's just my interpretation because I really doubt that the author would make a damsel in distress character as a sign of "THIS IS BAD" instead of trying to address any problems that are at the root of why this character is so bad. Technically she doesn't even have to have been abused for her to logically think that going along with the prince's whims is a better option, but the auther made her have trauma and be abused because they thought it wasn't enough to provide a "justification" as to why she acts the way she does.

She does not seem to like him though, she is stuck and has to agree with him because otherwise other people get punished.
