What else do you expect her to do? Crying by herself is much better than laughing at eris. If she really wanted to, she could have gone against eris with the help of to CP, but no, she understands that eris is also in a tough situation. And she’s not acting like a victim, she probably feels guilty for putting eris in such a situation as she knows what it means for the CP to bring her in wearing the same dress as eris. That’s why she apologized straight away to eris when they made eye contact.
She may not be as strong as eris, but she is strong in her own way. I am not forcing you to like her, I just wanted to point out that helena isn’t that weak and has her reasons for doing what she is doing. However, I will agree with you that helena could use some character development so she can stand up for herself.
Idk man but the first thing she does after seeing that shes wearing the same dress as eris is to storm out to the garden and wail?? Instead of changing and then go apologize?? She already know that shes being used to torment eris but she just lets it happen. The one who receives the most hate in everything is eris and what does she do? Fucking cry.
I don’t think eris was hated tho.. if eris cried and stuff she would have, but since she didn’t everyone just brushed over it. And it takes a really long time to change in and out of a dress, so helena wouldn’t have been able to change out of it on her own. She can’t go against the CP, she’s a commoner. If she herself wanted to hurt eris intentionally, she would have continued to walk with the CP instead of running out.
Everybody loves helena and she sees that eris is the one always humiliated, hated, slapped even and she just lets it happen. I knows shes powerless and she cant touch the prince, but its not about the big moves, just little acts of defiamce to the cp. She knows eris’s situation, and still does NOTHING! Like that one time the cp thought eris hurt helena, she didnt even correct him? Just said sorry afterwards? LIKE TF SHE WAS AT THE SCENE SHE MADE NO ACTION WHATSOEVER

Yes, when I read those scenes I also thought Helena was being a bitch when she didn’t stop CP. In the end, I would always choose eris over helena, but after it showed helena’s perspective, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she regrets those choices, maybe in the future Helena would step up against the CP. I just wanted to say that overall, helena isn’t super weak like u wrote her to be, but I will agree with you that she could have done better on her part if she wanted to help eris.

I can never sympathize w helena. She acts like shes the victim crying her heart out in the garden when shes not getting the hate out there. So while she cant reject the prince w his requests, i still dont like her. I dont like the weak character that she has.
