I like to first look at the ratings. If it's 9.0 or above I consider reading it. Then I look at the tags to see what genre it is and if I'm in the mood of reading that genre. After that I check the comments to see if people liked reading it or their reactions after reading so that I know what to expect.

genre, then summary, comments, and after that i read the first 10 ch
if it peaks my interest i read it in one sitting if i can and add it to my lists.
if i'm not in the mood for reading, same process but i don't read the first 10 ch, instead i just add it to my new stuff list. especially the ones that still have less than 20 ch

Cover picture. You can tell the art style, and not to be a person that judges by cover, but you can get a good understanding of how the manga will be by taking a look at its picture. Especially if you mainly just stalk the latest updates (which is what I do). Then itβs the summary, and lastly the comments. If ppl are expressing dislike for the story, I generally stay away from it. I never check views or ratings.

Make sure there is no girl on the cover and the boy looks badass, check the tags don't have romance, read some comments and check the rating. Then I either click want to read or start reading it immediately. Depending on the comments and if there are some saying the girl is annoying, I write a question asking how annoying she is and if reply is positive I read. If not then bye.
what considerations you put in choosing what to read?
ratings? views? comments?
