Sometime i go to the chat to say hi but i worry that it will interrupt their conversation so i just stare at it and get out of there
Maybe try to find servers on a smaller scale where they talk about something you all have a common interest in. I think it’ll definitely feel easier to join in the conversations
I want to join one too but english isn't my mother tongue so it takes me a while to think and write what I want to say so I always lose "my turn" in convos so I just give up at the end

I wanna join discord servers but im awkward so I just sit there and read chats then get uncomfortable and leave. Like I feel like their prob older than me by a lot or sum
