ok so this is as much as i remember but basically the mcs are a guy and a girl and i think the guy/girl has a father/uncle and that perosn is a scientist and makes a machine or something that causes the mcs to switch bodies. now they go about their days pretending to be each other then their respective male/female best friends start liking them respectively (so girl's best friend starts liking her when she's in the guy's body and vice versa). i think even when they switch back they end up togehter w their respective best friends (a little blurry on this but it'd be like guy x guy and girl x girl). but i remember the guy being like the damsel in distress type and then the girl was like the tomboy type … if anyone knows this series pls lmk i have been trying to find it for a while
