Idk why Leticia is shipping Noelle with her own murderer so hard. I know that he didn't want to do it, but at the end of the day he chose the goddess over his woman, Leticia should be trying to take Noelle away with her for Noelle's safety shouldn't she?

I think it's more like she's hoping Ahuin's distance from her mother might able to weaken his relationship, and he would be able to choose Noelle this time.

Also, she is hoping to avoid any circumstance that will make her mother issue an explicit order that asks Ahuin to kill Noelle.

Yeah, but are you gonna entrust your only ally's life to such a vague hope? Seems a little airheaded to me

She must've gotten a private class from Dumbledore. We will never know whether they might have encountered up there in the fiction world. Probably while having a lemon sherbet...

She knew about their love story, ahuin was forced to end noelle’s life and ended up being insane so she wanted to protect both of them in this life

you realize as a wing he couldnt disobey or control himself. sure nolle always knew something was up but ahuin DIDN'T. that' the main issue. it was not that he chose the goddess over his love, but as established he cannot go against the saintess. he's only realizing things in this timeline because leticia's powers are awakening sooner. and mom's powers are leaving faster so he himself is also seeing her saintess ness fading which is why when we get his POV he's questioning things and being confused and shit. and why he was so alarmed when noelle "pledged" loyalty to the saintess right when he was finally coming around to the idea that she's not the actual saintess. setting his development back more and giving him more confusion

Yeah idk why MANY readers totally missed this point about ahuin

I know that he had no choice, but doesn't that just mean that he's guaranteed to kill Noelle again? There's no amount of convincing that will change his fate (as far as Leticia currently knows), so instead of pushing them together shouldn't she be keeping them apart to save Noelle?

    Cora June 23, 2021 9:19 pm

@snailshell8 As I said he's only realizing in this timeline because the mom's saintess ness is leaving her faster and leticia's getting her powers sooner so instead I think it guarantees Noelle and ahuin being on the same page. if you read Ahuins POVs at all you'd know he's just repressing his disgust with her actions (subtext in dialogue and his face) and unlike noelle actually does his best to be a proper wing. which is why he's her mother's favorite.

Why wouldn't she know? She was already partially convinced by Noelle that she was a Saintess.

Edit to above post: ...why wouldn't she know *there is an amount of convincing that will change his fate*?

Besides she can't really do much to keep Ahuin from escorting her to the principality. To try to stop that would be truly irrational. So all she can do right now is try to limit the damage as much as possible, which means preventing the attack on Ditrian's guard, which has the side benefits of Ahuin not being forced to betray Noelle's expectations while not forcing them to break up or forcing him to kill her then going 'in****' afterwards.

That just seems like the much harder and riskier route. It just seems like she's more concerned about Noelle's love life than the hundreds of lives at stake. And she's only known Noelle for like 2 days (including past life time).

    ChuYang June 24, 2021 10:42 pm

Firstly, I should make clear I'm not an Ahuin fan. But that isn't because he was forced to kill her or because he betrayed her. But because he clearly knew there is a chance he will eventually be forced to do either one of those things and still pressured her to remain by his side/not take her own life.

Secondly, no. The riskier route is trying to convince her mother not to force Ahuin to open the seal for Valenos (which is the only thing that she could possibly do otherwise). Which means her mother would then know she's the one who interfered in her plans and she would then find ways that even Leticia doesn't know to torment her and the delegate from the principality.

And it seems pretty clear to me that she's more concerned about the lives that will be lost and that the side benefit is keeping Ahuin and Noelle together.
