    No, te quiero has multiple meanings. I should know this, one of my family members is fluent in the language. Te quiero yes is i want you, pero it can mean I love you too family members and friends

    It might depend on the location cause spanish is my 2 language and a bunch of my family members live in spain. Oh well

    Yeah, definitely depends on the dialect cause Mexico mostly uses te quiero as ‘I love you’

    Well, as a Spanish myself, I have to disagree. Spanish uses te quiero as I love you. It's veeeeeery rare to use "te amo"

    I know you didn’t reply to me but, although te amo and te quiero both mean I love you, te amo is usually more for lovers and te quiero is more casual like you can say it to friends and family

    Yeah i agree with u, for me i use "te amo" for lovers, family and close friends
