I think the reason why he says he doesn't want any children is because he knows he can't have a kid with Violet and it's to protect her(?) From feeling hurt, I think it's his own way of being considerate of her, kinda like ignorance is bliss kind of thing
Problem is... the problem is the Motherf*cker!! HE IS THE PROBLEM! he is of some ancient origin and cannot have children if not from people that has at least a minimum of consanguinity....and the Royal blood os the purest one! So she cannot have babies from him, and he doesn't tell her because of his INFERIORITY COMPLEX... he is acting like he doesn't want babies FROM Her, while the problem lies in himself... he is really egoistic and self-centered... he is treating her like an object, ignoring completely her will... this is pretty much a marriage fraud, since he is infertile to her...but hey! He BUYED her, so he has the right to treat her like an object, caring only to give her new clothes like dressing up a doll.... I despise him and I will only laugh when he is gonna suffer!

But he was too busy making money to inflate his inferiority complex ridden Ego... at least...if you think you are not a match to her as a marriage partner, then work on yourself and improve until you feel ready
He was too busy treating her like an object: hoarding her when the possibility arrived, and then put het on a pedestal until he felt ready... problem is that the she is not a statue and have feelings...
Honestly at this point there's just too much that Violet already suffered through
Just changing bodies and seeing it through the other's eyes is a good method but judging by how dense and selfish the ML is, she is just going to feel more pain and the situation just stays the same. A divorce would be the best or at least time out
Or just give her a child, Winter doesn't necessarily need to look after the kid. I just think that they could mind their own business that way as Voilet takes care of it
I want Violet to be happy and that all the people who hurt her including ML suffer a lot
She deserves so much better and I hope she gets her best happy ending
