No we don’t like weak btches
In the novel during this scene helena went to the party with the crown prince then Eris arrived later she didn’t say anything u just want to pity Helena

I actually don't hate both of them, helena is not the usual naive and air headed protagonist. Sometimes she too doesn't like the prince's advances but can't refuse because of her status and circumstances. She's okay, don't hate her, don't love her.
I once read a quote I really like
"A villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told"
Obviously one has to be smart enough to distinguish whetever one is truly evil or not. In general I really try to be open minded and understanding, obviously, this conduct can counterattack sometimes; this goes to show how there's not really a perfect way to understand and relate to others.

False. If the MC was to accept the prince's offer in being their partner while knowing that it's the prince's fiancee's coming-of-age banquet and that the prince's partner should be his fiancee, then i would drop it right then and there. Thats some dumb MC shit that i hate and will never read.

is she rly weak tho? i mean i’d consider her as the silent strength type of protagonist (if she was). i’d say staying silent was a smart choice. was it morally right? no, definitely not. but was it smart? most probably, she’d probably be the one who’s at a loss if she defied them. her social standing is the one that’s WEAK and that’s not something she can control.

as the protagonist, her objective would probably be to get away from her mom, the prince and everyone else who’s making her life hell, including pre-isekaid eris. but if she tries to actually run away, im pretty sure the mf crown prince would restrict her more and make her life even more miserable. what else could she do?

and regarding eris, what was she supposed to do? defend the person who bullied her? we can’t deny that eris was really a bitch pre-isekai (sorry, forgot the verb used when the soul of someone form another world transfers to someone who died in the world where the story takes place). she isn’t even aware that eris isn’t the original eris anymore.

i don’t “just want” to pity helena. im just trying to understand where she’s coming from. personally, i think both eris and helena are really pitiable. sure, they have their faults but i could see where they were both coming from.

im guessing you don’t like seduce the villain’s father then? i mean, yes the story is entirely different. but isn’t the king engaged to another woman, who’s also evil (similar to eris). but it also involves stealing someone engaged to someone else? don’t get me wrong tho, i love yerenica and euradian. they’re fluffballs. but it’s okayy, respect ur opinion regardless. and ya sorry for generalizing.

sorry if any of u were offended!! just wanted to put it out there that it’s messed up if u’re defending pre-isekaid eris’ actions. i understand where she was coming from but it’s fcked up to defend bullying just bc she’s the protagonist. post-isekaid eris rocks tho. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

and helena is also at fault but some ppl hate her like she chose to do everything willingly. if she were the protagonist, some ppl would choose to turn a blind eye to this.
