for real tho, he might have the mentality of a 40 year old but it would just be as equally as wrong of he dated someone his mothers age.
arthur explicitly said that if tess could wait for him then that would be great, theres no romance yet so people shouldnt be pressed over a matter that wont happen till they grow up in 10 years or so, arthur still has his responsibilities that he has to take care of, and he values taking care of matters that need to be solved now rather than love which can absolutely wait in the future.
I mean I'm actually fine with the romance as long as the older person (mentally) is conscious of their mental age and how their potential partner is actually younger than them.
He actually demonstrated to be really responsible by asking her if she could wait

Tbh im just really mad that ppl r commenting bad things about how they dont want a romance or other bad things. I mean just one or two comments is okay but no they comments about this in every fuking chapters and im fed up with it like when i went to the comment expecting good comments and itz just filled with all this bad comments.
