I don’t fucking care. He treats his other kids like trash they were about to literally die and he was literally just there watching. If the only reason he gets character development is because his daughter is cute I will hate him more, because why did it take one of your kids to be cute for you to start caring about them. He’s a fucking asshole.
I guess he can't be a good father to them because he never had a good father. He was raised to kill his siblings for the throne and that's all he's ever known. In his perspective that's how you raise your children and what is considered a "normal" upbringing.

If he had the desire to protect the mc, then he could have protected the other children. If he was going to just protect one of them, he should have protected none of them. There is just no excuse. That wasn’t cool at all.
