Yep the CP is the worst. Helena is just a victim of his selfishness and she just can't do anything bc people around her will suffer. But her character still agitates me bc I hate people who lay adamantly. It's obvious that she gets pretty privileges from the prince so she can tell him no about things and she can make things straight with everyone. Insted she just chooses to have a friendship with all the boys that like her thus leading them on.
I will respect that. Her character is played out to be the typical white lotus, thus, it’s suppose to make you agitated. But what I like about the author’s roundabout way of writing her gives her more solid clarity on WHY she chooses to stay kind. Compared to other stories, they leave it as “she was just born kind.” Helena was taught to be kind because her mother told her she needed to survive. It’s pretty much a middle finger to others who write white lotuses as pure angels and that’s it. No character depth beyond that.
Yeah i agree with that. She just is that type of character and she was brought up to be like that so for her that's the only way to live.

No. None of the 3 main leads die. Instead, Helena, MC Eris and Anakin do.
Helena: She gets killed by MC Eris williningly. Not exactly sure why, but I read she wanted to be free. She had to be killed if MC Eris wanted to go back to her world. Though, she can be brought back, I think. Something with magic in that novel’s world.
MC Eris: I think somewhere during the time of execution and after Helena’s death, she is dead, but the 3 MLs tried to bring her back to life. But Anakin burns her body before they do. She goes back to her world.
Anakin: He gets stabbed by the shitty CP, but the witch ( she is someone that tells eris the way back to her world is through finishing a purpose- aka killing helena- and dying to get back.) I think helps his soul travel to the other world or something. Either way, he ends up meeting mC eris in the modern world.
