If FL is being favoured more than the other kids its not the FL's fault, its the father's and others fault. Its not that asif FL is forcing them to favour her more than the others.
How can you just say that FL shouldn't curry favour with the emperor? The others could also try to curry favours. If they did, and still are not being favoured its the father's fault. Why are you blaming FL for it.
Also the reason FL is being favoured is probably because she was an adult in her past life and knows how to act and behave. Which children usually don't. If FL was in the body of an adult, or had a baby's mentality, then this wouldn't have happened. But FL has an adult's mind with a baby's appearance. Thus making her seem unique.

Yes, I disagree with her action of trying to curry his favor bc that was unnecessary and unfair to the other children, if she spared a thought about them. Yeah, the other children are also trying get love from him… that’s their FATHER! Meanwhile, the mc is mentally an adult. She should have judged he ain’t worth it and how unfair it would be to the other children if she did. They are equally as important and all his children. There would be no problem with her not getting his attention bc he wasn’t going to interfere in their competition anyways (until she curried his favor).
She already had the aide and the brother’s protection. She just did it because she wanted to go to the party but mainly bc of her pride. Her decision was very random.
That don’t mean I fault the mc, I just don’t agree with her decision to get his attention, that’s all. I’d rather her focus on getting stronger and that’s it. The people I fault was the aide and emperor for protecting her but casting the other children aside.
That isn’t the reason why she is being favored nor does it not matter.

Um you're clearly getting at least some of the dislikes because you were literally blaming a baby's cuteness on the baby, especially when you said it was irresponsible of her to curry favor with others like that:
For one, when she first met Harriet she had NO idea why he was falling down like that. Considering that she was a witch who was hundreds of years old and had been betrayed by the sole human she finally felt was trustworthy enough to believe in why tf would she understand something like that?
For two, as others have told you, she's three. Plus showing off her magic talent in front of the emperor *as she herself noted* could lead the emperor to discovering who she was and it could put her life at risk. She already had trouble dealing with him in the past as a full grown witch with five star mana. Do you really think that same person in the body of a *three year old child* would be able to handle him? Which doesn't leave her with many other options to choose from for her survival.
For three when she does learn why people are falling all over her like that she finds it the best method to *ensure her survival*.
For four some of the other kids were already trying to kill her well before the age of five too. But nope she's the only one at fault for defending herself.
For five the emperor did not fall in love with her cuteness, not right off the bat. And since you consider him such a sc^mbag (I do, too, but I'm not going to use it as an excuse to then turn around and blame her 'baby cuteness') I'm surprised you didn't understand that. As for those who say the maid acts as her parent: the maid is 's*****' af and the most likely one to have put the MC in danger. The MC is just lucky that hasn't happened yet. She is actually acting exactly like what someone described Harriet acting as. She wants the MC to live while at the same time acting as an ordinary child but if that were true, once she was five she would be completely on her own with only the maid and her sword and very little power to protect herself. Bye bye MC then! Plus the MAID is the one who had the MC sent to that palace where one of her older siblings was waiting for her. If the MC had been an ordinary five year old at the time she met him she would likely not have picked Cage as her support and wouldn't have nearly as many magical abilities herself to keep from being injured or worse. Again bye bye MC(!);
Tldr: you're equating someone's necessary survival instinct because of the people around her with a sc^mbag's trashy parenting skills. Honestly, i don’t like the favoritism she is receiving. She’s receiving love and all that when she was just born while the kids be treated as shit. I really don’t like the aide and that emperor. How the aide going to be like “the emperor isn’t supposed to be involved with the contest for the throne, but it’s okay to protect her highness…!” God I really hope she truly does leave when she gets older… but it don’t seem like it UGH.
