other than it feeling a bit rushed, this was probably the best ending they both could've had, min-joon was too traumatized because of bdsm and so-dam was too inexperienced. i'm glad that they didn't continue their relationship but don't have any negative feelings towards each other. otherwise i would've loved to see them get together, but probably in a more vanilla relationship.
