I heard some things about this story and I'm kinda scared in the future eps because of it....

I've read the light novel series for this, the second and third one are my favs!! Tbh this one I didn't like so much because of the seme. I will leave my opinions of him so it wouldn't dampen anyone's enjoyment.

But I believe this should warrant a trigger warning because there's dubcon. (But to me it was rape idk I don't think about it so much in fiction)

Sumiya’s your typical entitled hot guy-prick. If this were omegaverse, he’d be the assholey alpha who fucks around and treats the low-class as fodder. Which was common among the high-class (but definitely not okay)! Not treating the low-class with basic human decency was the prevalent behavior among them. Lots of the low-class are raped, drugged, or physically abused. :( (The uke in this story is not exempt, so be prepared. It’s pretty harrowing).

He was initially a jerk, but I don't think he goes out of his way to act like one (if that makes sense), just that it's the normal thing for him and the people around him... until he falls in love with Tsubasa and changes for the better.

To give an example of how much of a jerk he was at first...
One time, Tsubasa stumbles upon Sumiya getting it on with some other dude. Sumiya catches him with his spidey silk, because to him, it was Tsubasa who came willingly to his nest. Sumiya basically rapes Tsubasa, and after that the latter’s like “welp meal’s over get out” and demeans Tsubasa's worth. However, Tsubasa decides that it was his fault for coming close to the spider's web and... apologizes to him... #－.－) (Don't worry, Tsubasa at least doesn't have an abysmal lack of self worth.)

Note: I say rape here because Tsubasa, at one point, says it was. As he should, because it’s absolutely true. Sumiya disagrees because he “did it gently” according to him ROFL, and even accuses Tsubasa of purposely seducing him with his special butterfly pheromones to get pregnant with a wealthy high-class’s son.

Anyway he gets a "redemption" but to me was unsatisfying, so I couldn't like him at all. Even in the following books where we see that he became a very gentle guy. Tsubasa's likable though, and that's why I couldn't totally hate this book.

I have to retract my previous statement too! I vaguely remember the fouth book (featuring Kabuto as the seme!) having mpreg ala sex pistols where the uke got infected by some kind of virus or disease? I forget, but that’s the general idea. And I remember Tsubasa and Sumiya appearing in that book too with their... mmmbabymm.

Ah, I think I have to add, to be fair to Sumiya... his general environment is poisonous and vile, so he is the way he is with his twisted views. Until yeah, he meets Tsubasa.

Tsubasa didn't apologize because he thought it was his fault, but for the words he said to Sumiya (that hit where it hurt, but anymore would be spoiling too much). So sorry again ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

Here we go again...I knew it, He'll be the typical toxic seme who turns nice and likeable when he'll fall in love with the uke.

Don't worry I'm still gonna read it, I'm used to this, there's always some omegaverse stories out there who doesn't really start in a good away. Btw thank you so much for spoiling me about it
