The family massacre is at the center of this story. A full spoiler on that part, will give away the entire plot. But I will give you this, the ML is not the kind of person you think he is. There is nothing simple about the story, nothing is straight up black & white, they all come in many shades of grey in between. So don't expect this to be straightforward shoujo romance where good & evil is clearly defined from early on. At this point, we don't even know what truly happened that night. We only saw the bits that the FL saw. Remember, she passed out at one point after being slammed to the ground. A lot of things happened while she was out. This is the kind of story where you need a full accounting of the past, current, & future development in order to accurately judge each characters. Currently, there are too many missing pieces, both in past & present. We will see many flashbacks to address this, & each piece will finally fall into place to create the big picture, just like a jigsaw puzzle. You can hold on to your feelings about the ML now, I think you're supposed to hate him at first since he's being portrayed as the bad guy. Let's see if the author is good enough to able to convince you to change your mind later on, even when the truth is not fully out yet. But I think he'll grow on you, to the point you won't hate him eventually, & you may even start wishing it'd all come to a different conclusion, one where he didn't have to die so tragically.
He is disgusting. Nothing will change my mind unless the Cousin (brother) did something to deserve being dead. Please give me spoiler if you don't agree with me. :)
