I'd usually rec BJ Alex or Banana Scandal (season 2), but both of those are pretty popular.

A Shoulder to Cry On is an underrated shounen ai. It's never specified who is the seme and who is the uke, but one of the characters treats the other quite badly, and later feels remorseful. I really liked it - BL is often a great escape, but this one feels weirdly real.
