i mean waaaaaaay back in one of the early chapters they did a "test" to see if they would be able to pull off the physical side of a relationship so I don't think this is unexpected.

Yes, from what I know, the rating of the novel is pretty high. These two are very physically compatible and spend a LOT of time in the bedroom (and it's pretty graphic), but the novel also has a plot (the romance is only 50-60% of the story; the rest is investigating/breaking the curse).
But the webtoon is probably going to skip the nonessential love scenes and fade-to-black the rest, given the rating here.

Alas I don't th8nk it has been translated this the Charming and the Beast not having translations hurts me deeply. The latter more than the former
