I think it’s a little bit of both. She probably started out for the money and definitely enjoyed the newfound security. She was always open about what she wanted so the black haired dude took advantage of that and used it to guilt her into doing stuff for him. To the point where by the time she realized something was off about the requests she was unsure of what to do because she’d already done so many things in the name of money that she was probably afraid of the consequences. She was blackmailed in a way because at some point she crossed the line of no return in her mind and no doubt in the words of the black haired dude.
