honestly i dont think they knew the emperor hid it pretty well but yea him not knowing that prolly makes him an even worse chacter cuz hes a misinfromed duke
Right.. like he had to have some info tho even if he didn’t completely know abt it.. I think he chose to ignore it to some extent because I think he wanted to play nice with Selena cuz he wanted something from her as the “imperial princess”.. smh just disappointed in him and the fact that now is acting like a “knight in a shinning armor” annoys me a bit lol..
ikr even if the princess was evil he was a bit too quick to jump ship from the girl he 'loved' it was a bit dirt baggy i mean he didnt even ask her if she was abused or anything we know shes not but the empeor is shity so for them who knows
i know a lot of people like the ducal prince but i can’t really bring myself to like him knowing that they probably knew the fl was at least being mistreated especially him since he had to meet with her sister and there was never an attempt to intervene
