I don't ship Lilix Soo Won at all... but this comment is a little rude... I mean you sound like you don't like them mainly because they are a man and a woman/hetero couple.... If you only like yaoi they why are you reading shoujo..? (well maybe you like fantasy)
Uh, I literally stated that I was using this as therapy (it isn't helping though) to be okay with Hetero Sexual couples in anime. I can ship Hetero sexual couples in real life, but in anime? Out of the question. So this comment isn't rude, I just happen to hate the couple. Why? Simply because I dont ship it. Yeah, I ship Soo won x Hak, but even if I accepted hetero sexual couples I would NEVER ship Lili x Soo won. The ship came outta no where, they dont go well together, and why does it always have to be girl x guy anyway? If you didn't know, homosexuality is found in over 1,500 species. Homophobia? Found in one. So no, I do not hate hetero sexual couples.. IN REAL LIFE. But in anime? Yeah, haha no. Nowadays you cant find a decent romance anime where the girl doesn't have an unnatural cup size, and she doesn't blush constantly and want sex if he accidentally sees her naked.
They weren't insulting homosexuality, they were just wondering why. Also, this site practically revolves around yaoi. Don't ask why everything is hetero nowadays, and akatsuki no yona isnt like the anime you describe as being indecent. Roughly 75-80% of this site revolves around yaoi, I myself being one of those percentages (though I do lead a tad bit more to shoujo). I do ship lily x soo won only a tiny bit, because it did kind of come out of nowhere. I understand completely as well why you ship has and so won, but hak was devastated that he killed the king and almost killed yona, so I doubt they'll have that kind of relationship anytime soon. Also by reading a lot of chapters in yaoi, I see a lot of what you describe, except for an unnatural cup size.

Okay, it's pretty obvious that Hak x Soo won is never going to happen (I wish it did). Japan isn't the friendliest when it comes to homosexuality. How I know? Im half Japanese. I know they weren't insulting it but most good action anime adaptations always have a girl nowadays. D. Gray man does not have romance (THANKFULLY) but people ship Allen x Road or Allen x Lenalee (Even nastier). D. Gray man still has popular yaoi ships and don't get me wrong, I ship people in the anime too (yaoi obviously) but I constantly have to feel paranoid that the main guy of any action anime will end up with a girl, I mean, I dont get it? Humanity has always been f*cked anyway. I know the manga or anime is not indecent, I was talking about most animes nowadays. They could do that sh*t in hentai. Even I feel ashamed of my country because of that. This site does not revolve around yaoi, it has other categories. People read One piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail, etc on here. Your point was invalid.
To me it doesn't matter if a good action anime has a girl x boy shipping or not. If it's a good action anime or manga whether it be yaoi or shoujo I will watch/read it. I don't get why you don't ship boy x girl, but that isn't my business to know. But yeah I do agree most anime nowadays are falling apart because of fanservice and all that jazz, which is why I came to read manga (and to be honest I like this site) and one of my closest friends introduced me to yaoi as well.
It's just what happens to some Yaoi fans. I, am genderfluid and “Bisexual“ in real life. I honestly dont believe humans are obligated to any gender. Anyway, I used to like some romance but after I read yaoi, girlxboy became boring. It's always the same thing. The girls are always indecent. They are annoying and dont act tough. Its cliche. As a half Japanese person, it disgusts me that they portray all Japanese like that. Blushing constantly. Liking things we would not normally like. I still dont understand why im not fine with girlxboy shippings, but I do ship them in real life (luckily). It's probably mostly the fact that they are cliche and boring. It's something we are all used to seeing. Yeah, thats definitely a reason!

If you don't like Soo WonxLili then don't worry... it's not canon, they don't like each other romantically, they are just becoming friends, maybe, she likes that other married general and Soo Won seems like a very late bloomer who doesn't want anything with love right now... he has other worries... but some people just to conclusions and if tehy like them, they have the right to have their own opinions

I really hate the Lili x Soo won ship. Im trying to use Akatsuki No Yona as some sort of therapy because I only ship yaoi. What makes it even harder is the fact that I ship Soo won x Hak. But i'd rather Soo won die or be alone then end up with Lili.
