In my opinion, sovieshu likes people who are depending on him, since navier is independent and doesnt really rely on people, it makes him seem useless. And i think sovieshu also likes those who act cute and asks for attention, unlike navier since shes the calm and collected

i agree; sovieshu seems to care for navier, but since she is very independent and seems off-landish he doesn’t understand navier’s motivations in life nor who she is as a person. it seems like he has misunderstood her feelings towards him and because she gives off a steely exterior he interprets that as her not caring abt his opinions when rly it lead to his increasing anxiety of her not loving him.
i think sovieshu’s problem in the first place was to choose to find comfort in trashta bc he wanted affection from a direct source instead of simply asking navier abt these kinds of things. his mistake was that he thought naiver would simply dismiss his feelings if he ever brought it up so in the end he digging himself a bigger hole. he pushed naiver too far that she had to find another way to be happy. his other mistake was assuming navier would simply stay w him as an unmarried empress and that she would take him back after the fact.
in my opinion, i don’t rly think sovieshu actually even loves trashta; he just uses her as external validation and never rly delves deeper into any of her requests. unlike w navier, sovieshu doesn’t rly care to respect trashta’s opinions (tbh he treats her like a lil pet ew) anyway i think he deserves every bad coming to him for treating navier the way he did and not even appreciating how much she did for himヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
its because he wanted a successor. since he thought rashta was preggers with his kid and navier was infertile, he was going to make rashta empress for a year and then eventually remarry navier... hence why he is so mad that she remarried. he knows rashta isnt competent to be empress but he also thought for the time she was empress, he would handle it, but his plan has gone to complete shit. this is his main motive for doing this.
Like I'm trying to understand- all the other characters have some motivation for reasons what they do... But what are the Emperors? All I know is that he fed a cookie that left our Queen, possibly, infertile. He wishes to keep our Queen by his side while loving another woman. All while our Queen is unhappy and can never love anyone. Right now he's just being a spoiled child who has everything he wanted at his disposal, and maybe that's why he likes the commoner Empress? That's my best explanation for why, but it still doesn't make sense what his motivation is or why he loves the commoner Empress.
