You are basically right, he seems to be responsable for Chiwoo's parents death, he is the villain/ Magical for Sunny's evil enemy Moony. Also he's bad shit crazy and a rapist.

yo do anyone else think hwan is also magical boy and had something to do with chiwoo parents death? not directly but like… what if he wished chiwoo and him could always be together when he was about to move away. and then suddenly the bridge fell, and he was ‘granted’ that bc chiwoo could then always live with him. maybe im just cut different, but it’s sus af how hwan immediately latched onto him and how he won’t come clean about his feelings even though it (should) be clear that chiwoo likes him back. that’s the best case scenario, liking someone who you secretly know likes you…. But he also commented on chiwoo growing apart from him, so maybe hwan is hiding something such that he can’t confess.
my only other idea is that hwan is half monster lmao but that feels crazy
