If it were So Won, He definitely will kill Yona if she ever become a threat to his throne. He already kill Yona father and almost kill Yona herself. The only one stopping him is Hak. If So Won ever try to kill Yona again, will Hak and the other four dragon be enough to protect her?
Wanting her to life? Please, Lily. Don't give So Won that much credit. He treasure Yona so much that he give her the hairpin just right before killing her father. He maybe is a good king because he wanted to be a king. He feel that it's his right and Yona father owe him by killing his father. Of course, can't blame Lily, she didn't know what we, readers, know. So Won is capable of many things as long as he can keep his throne. He get it by killing Yona father and betraying Yona and Hak. Now, he treasure Hak. He probably won't kill Hak. But Yona? As he grimaced in this chapter, he probably pray that Yona stay away from "his kingdom". He doesn't want to kill Yona anymore but he will if it's necessary.
Therefore, I don't want Yona to be a queen. I also don't want anyone hailed her or seek her to be the queen just because she's the reincarnation of King Hiryu.
So WOn father may kill himself or force King Il [Yona father] to kill him. Why? Simply because he knows that Yona is the reincarnation of King Hiryu and he wanted Yona to be the ruler. It's only possible if King Il be the next King and not him. If He become the next King then So Won will get the throne instead of Yona. But then I might be wrong and women doesn't allowed to be the ruler instead.

I'm split between having Yona be Queen and having her be "robin hood." I feel her becoming Queen would be too cliche, but the robin hood troupe would be an interesting ending. (as long as she ends up with Hok! lol)

i still kind of hold onto the theory of the killing of King Il was planned between So Won and him. I don't really have anything to back it up. I just would think that since the country was in such bad shape that So Won took it over now to fix it while Yona found her path, learned how to become a leader. then towards the end they join together to help the country. idk...just a thought.

Good. It shows that you still some hope for a good So Won. I already give up on good So Won. I think that So Won is a grey character and he indeed plan to kill King Il his whole life since seeing his father get killed.

I'm not so sure about that So Won want to kill Yona. Yes - he killed her father, and trample on Yona's feelings but we don't know the REAL reason yet. Revenge? Yearning for power? Nah - So Won character is way more complicated that that. I believe that long black haired guy (his advisor??) from the early chapters have a big part in So Won actions.

Call me romantic and kill me painfully but I wish to believe that So Won still have a feeling toward Yona. Maybe not romantic ones, but he still cares a lot about the princess like a big brother or so (▰˘◡˘▰)

Yes we do... its fairly obvious in the story. Nobody liked King Il's rule and Soowon was trying to make the kingdom better. The ways he went about it is wrong and he knows that. He's also ready to accept the consequences but only after he has accomplished his goals for a better and stronger kingdom. That is the REAL reason. But yes I do think there is some manipulation going on with his advisor.

I prefer Hak for Yona. As much as So Won care about Yona and even if it was written later in the future chapter, I still prefer Hak. I don't ship Yona and Hak. But I believe that you don't kill your sister father if you truly love her. There is a line that you should never cross. So Won may care about Yona. He maybe not. I prefer not to know. Because it's dangerous for So Won himself. In love with a daughter of the previous king he supposed to be killed? Twisted enough? If So Won ever end up with Yona, it wasn't fair for Hak who stayed with her till the end. I dislike So Won and Yona romantic relationship. Yona position as a princess of the past ruler who was killed by So Won will always hinder their relationship. People around So Won will always try to keep them apart and get rid of Yona. Even more because no one loves King Il. Yona is better off that kingdom altogether and live somewhere else far away from it. Of course, it's better if So Won and Yona could rekindle their friendship. But only as a friend not a brother or more. I prefer her to stay away from Yona. I distrust So Won and people around him. I'm very wary of them. Yona forgiving So Won is essential for her to move on and live her own life. She's lucky that she's free with a pack of friend who is willing to do anything for her. It's enough for her. I don't want a betrayer or a supposed betrayer like So Won around her. So Won is dangerous. The fact that I don't think that he care about Yona sincerely add to it. He has his reason. Sure. But I don't know that reason. I only know what he do. I don't want her father killer or a betrayer to be around her. Even if King Il and So Won probably plot it. Still. Big NO. But then, I'm glad that Yona x So Won and So Won himself have quite big fans.
