I don't he hasn't been training but rather just simply not as strong as the others. He's not good at fighting and I think that's being highlighted bc that's what's Mikey's brother is like and that was why he was liked by them, bc of his strong will and determination.
the whole point is that he’s not like other mcs who are strong. in my opinion it’s better that he’s weak bc if he wasn’t he would be like every other generic mc.

tbh i prefer a weak mc but have strong mentality. if i were takemichi, i would never go back to the past just for saving my friends, i would rather make a new friends or smthing. n people respect him because he's remind a lot of mikey's brother, weak at fighting. keep on reading and you'll love him more <3
Why does the MC don’t plan to study how to be a good fighter? He goes to past to future.. but he didn’t think about this? Is he a punching bag with a mouth? Gomen.. but I would prefer strong mc. I’m in the latest ch but nothing happens just TALK NO JUTSU. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
