Whuts up with the yellow roses again??!?

If the duke gaves Lucia yellow roses then he doesn't want her, so the butler paniced cuz he feared that it was from the duke.

Jerome would send yellow roses to the duke’s past lovers to show that the duke wants to break up/not meet up again. Can’t remember too well but Jerome had a relative that knew flower language and was the one who thought of sending yellow roses.
