I can see that but at the same time the manhwa goes out of its way to say that anisa sees Dietrich as her family and that Dietrich knows that you don’t have to be related by blood to be family what’s even the point of these scenes if we’re not supposed to see them as family or think they don’t see each other as family

Yeah they do end up together at the end.. I don't remember where I read the spoiler.. the og fl is the villainess.. she put anisa in jail and Dietrich save her.. I also remember that later on anisa's eyes change into blue if I'm not mistake.. my memory a little bit hazy I can't remember the details.. Dietrich kill his father and become the heir.. try scrolling down/ look up for other people's comments for the spoiler..
Maybe for now they only saw each other as family.. maybe as they grew up they will face a lot of troubles and maybe both realize and know each other secret like anisa only cling and act like his real sister so she can survive while Dietrich act kind to anisa as a sacrifice for him to become heir ( just my opinion) I don't know what will happen in middle of story. But I do know the story ending since I read other people's spoiler (=・ω・=)
I see your point.. this is just my opinion for your answer. I don't know whether my answer can satisfy your question. Please excuse my grammar since English is not my 1 language.
1. Yeah, stranger can become family. For example, they can adopt them into their family.. just like anisa's case. If we can it from another point of view. Since anisa's case in the beginning only Dietrich's mother know her existence and take her as her child since her own unborn child in the belly will gonna die together with her. But later on as anisa grow up, the old man( I forgot his name) and Dietrich know that's she not his real sister and her og sister already dead long ago. But he still treat her as sister/family since he has goal to use her.
2. In case of marriage it like to unite between 2 family ( originally both stranger before they know/meet each other). Marriage is necessary in order to keep the bloodline lineage for both families.

I think maybe for now both need to act and see each other as family.. your opinion got me to think like if they didn't act as family who know what gonna happen if the other siblings know that's anisa is Lagrange especially to Derek and their father. At the same time it can affect Dietrich's plan to become heir too.
Maybe this scenes needed to make the story flow much better in the future. I don't know what the author think tho.

I don't understand why people hate anisa and Dietrich.. they obviously aware that they're not related by blood.. and now the settings didn't focus on romance but rather advantage or opportunity to rely on each other in order to survive and avoiding death flag.. this is just my opinion for those who can't help see both of them as incest.. try to see or imagine both of them as an orphan kids who grew up together in the same house and rely on each other in order to survive (⌒▽⌒)
