Prob because of toxic masculinity that's been in people's minds since forever,, men can't cry or else they're weak and not manly, if they don't have muscles they're not manly, if they like flowers or things considered to be "feminine" they're not manly, etc. so lots of guys don't usually realize that they've been raped or dismiss it because of toxic madculinity and that's honestly saddening :/
