Japanese readers opinion about Furuya / Sawamura things?

Kinda OOT with current chapter.
As we can see some of Westerner readers (including me) are pretty frustrated by this manga because it's too focused on Furuya. But how about the Japanese readers? Anyone know how the Japanese readers reacted to this Furuya / Sawamura things? I'm curious since their opinions are more relevant than us (since the author/editor/staff can read them directly)

I don't know exactly but I read somewhere that Japanese readers of daiya are more accepting than most western fans

Maybe the Japanese fan love Furuya more. Maybe that's why the author love to write about Furuya than Eijun.

It's not like Japanese fans love Furuya more nor the manga artist does. It's just us asian enjoy reading dramatic things. We don't hate Furuya either ( he was indeed annoying all most the time though ) If you actually pay more attention to the story, Terejima sensei's interview, and offical fanbooks you properly understand what I mean. It's clear as day how much Eijun is loved, it's shown by popular polling and fangoods also. He and Miyuki always get first priority.

I don't know if the popularity poll is relevant enough, but Eijun ranked 2nd while Furuya ranked 5th. And I don't think that Terajima-sensei writes more about Furuya because of fans love him (?), it'll be pretty inconsistent if he does that.

Okay. So there must be other motives..... Plot wise.....

My guess is Terajima probably doesn't want to make things easy for Eijun. It's more interesting this way but it also frustrates us because

wow 10 damn years and he's still not the ace.

But I'm sure the author loves Eijun too! He's still the main character after all.

As long as it doesn't take till the end of Act 2. I hope the author spare us Koshien final with Eijun as the ace. But then, it practically impossible at the rate this manga going.

yeah, I'm afraid Eijun needs more time to be the ace. Man, I think I'll wait but if it takes too long, I don't think I can handle it well.

But it seems with Furuya not doing so well right now, Eijun has chance to shine. But it could be that Terajima planned something for Furuya too. Either way, I hope he won't make them suffer lol

I learn not to expect anything. As long as I got to see Eijun and Miyuki battery in Koshien final, everything is fine for me.
