It was a very disappointing ending, so much build up that ultimately led to nothing in terms of character growth. I get that he shouldn't be judge for things that had yet to happen, but the crappy ML aside, Aristia was one of the most disappointing FLs in the last 5 yrs or so of isekais blowing up, more so because they set her up to be this strong and intelligent fl, but she just turned out to be mediocre.
Like why waste so many chapters on her becoming a knight and succeeding her family as head if it was going to mean nothing at the end? And from what I get it was supposed to go on for longer, but the publisher canceled the adaptation and gave them a certain amount of chapters to wrap things up.
Ikr, I had the same thought, Tia was great, an amazing FL but everything was for nothing, she still chose the worst and she was an idiot for that.
She had the best choices and she had the best of abilities but she just let it go to waste. She wanted to be away from ML but in the end, ended up with him. And like you said we can't blame him for something that happened in the different timeline but it was all true to Tia and the fact that after all the torture, losing her baby and father to him she still chose him, it's not possible for a human to actually let go of such things until you are a psycho and I hated Tia for that.
And I would have accepted the end if Tia had no one other than ML around her that loved her but in that timeline she had the best father, loving people and Carsein who loved and supported her through it all and it just makes no sense to choose the prince after all that.
this is completely random but I just saw the title of the novel "I won't pick up the trash I threw away again"...something Aristia could never do #abandoned Empress #cliceassendings #carseindeservesbetter (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸. I'm ranting even tho it's completed-
