On one hand I know it'd be hard to believe in someone when go "hey this *insert crazy thing* so trust me" out of nowhere. Not mention he knows them better than they know him due him reliving but for them it's only been once straight linear timeline. He's gradually getting acknowledged but it's still hard to accept that the weak nobody could be any help.
