Not everything that was right in the 1800s, is right in the 2000s. What is accepted in the 2000s probably wouldn't be accepted in the 1900s. It's a world of gray.
So to say, just go to an adult since you don't know what you're doing. I'm not saying you shouldnt, it's good to get advice from someone older so that you can be inspired and so they can teach you things about life and you can be prepared. That is what parents are for. But it's wrong to not let us figure it out for ourselves. Adults can help give a push, but the rest is up to us. We can't let them be a crutch for us. While we do need to be prepared, we need to sometimes hit our head into a brick wall so we can learn and grow. And sometimes what the adults say are wrong, and we end up having to learn that the hard way. And guess what I learned that from millenials and a gen z. And I guess I got another lesson from you.

You'll think they like and respect you because they followed the rules, then they'll never call you again, act like they don't know you at school etc.
There's no such thing as a method for making sex safe. You have to be aware of your partner and sensitive to their needs every step of the way.
What made me really mad was the way you talked about how you would want to discuss the sex beforehand. Maybe over dinner a few nights before you and your person decide to be your first time. Problem is, the moment you talk about having sex with a guy is when the guy will think you want sex. Take you to their place, ask if you want a drink, start making out - this situation will be horribly awkward for you, and the guy won't understand because you started it by talking about sex. That's what's stupid.
You have no respect for men and their right to define themselves the same way you have a right to define yourself. Men aren't going to be what you and your teachers try to force into existence, a certain mold where people talk and make plans before they have sex. Don't talk about sex with a guy till you are ready to have sex. The guy has to be the one to start that kind of talk. That's just how it is.

Even if he did have a terrible childhood, it does not excuse what he did. Raping the uke was his choice and his alone, no one made him do it. And that can't be forgiven so easily with an 'I'm sorry'.
