I find this story very compelling especially with the new chapter. What I immediately noticed is that somehow there is an establishment of connection between us readers and the mc. The slow world-building somehow connects us with the fl. I like the fact that the fl isn’t op at all. She’s not the fl who adapts immediately, quicly knows the what, who, and when, of the place, and easily predict the future so she can keep prepare a counter attack. Basically she’s clueless and the way they portray that in the story give the idea that the people around her gives off a “we’re just your ordinary noble daughters” feeling even though there’s actually a subtle tension in the air. Her cluelessness is actually reflected in our uncertainty of future events.
