You really can't blame the Uke for overthinking, first of all, the seme is young. Second, he was straight to begin with, and those 'what-ifs' that uke is having are not childish at all, insecurities will always drag you down, and Taiga's action sort of amplifies uke's anxiety.
Dude, this is already the second time (correct me if I'm wrong) first was when uke made him his favorite dish and waited for him, but he ended up coming late. Second, is this date they were supposed to have.
