Actually Jin was said to be obsessed with this man in Ch8. But Jin was betrayed by this man, the one he was probably in love with.

According to what Jin's entourages talked about his business and his past in Ch9, Jin was used and betrayed by certain rats. Combined with what I learn from the elevator conversation (a guy said Jin was obsessed with his boss) in Ch8, I believe Jin was used by his ex lover/sex partner aka the boss of a rival company, who showed up in the last panel in Ch17.
