please remember not to reply in english or any other non-JP language since it's only being licensed in JP right now. speaking other languages is a big red flag their works are being translated and distributed illegally.
if you'd like to leave support in form of words, broken japanese from the use of machine translators like deepl is still 100x better because the author could assume you're trying to learn Japanese.
unless it's a tweet about book releases, it's also considered impolite to ask the author about considering overseas release because it's an unrelated topic to other tweets and annoying if spammed on unrelated posts so it may be dismissed that way.

also a common trick to find an author's twitter (assuming they have one) is to search the JP name found in "Alternative" titles and click on a store link such as amazon.jp or bookwalker. they will list the author's name down so you can search their name and unless their name is very common (which in that case search it with the jp title of the manga) they're twitter acc is probably one of the first things to show up.
keep in mind that some authors don't have personal twitter accounts and may have series specific ones instead (such as the author for Fukigen na mononokean) or none at all (such as the author of shimanami tasogare). this is usually the case if you can't find it searching the JP title.
