wow not to honk your horn but that’s a naive way of reading this story. the subtext doesn’t exactly agree with what you’re saying because there has been no indication whatsoever that she wanted to get into the family for selfish reasons; it’s purely been for appearances from the start, and it just so happens that she was curious and empathetic of his situation.

She’s finally seeing the how manipulative Norihiko is being and is genuinely trying to help her husband.
She definitely doesn’t need to leave them alone. I hope she can save them.
I don't like the wife. I also think she's just a gold digger. She's not successful with the young master, so she is now approaching the older brother. She's just like her uncle. It's only business and money for her. Just disappear for good and leave the 4 guys alone. They've been fcked up from the start anyway. （￣へ￣）
